Responsibilities - Develop a thorough understanding of plant automation systems including ABB Procontrol, ABB Advant, Yokogawa Centum, Emerson Ovation, ALSPA EDCS, Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley PLC, and Mitsubishi PLC. - Conduct routine, breakdown-shutdown, and planned maintenance activities by coordinating with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation. - Perform instrument and control maintenance activities, addressing both planned and unplanned jobs across DCS, PLC, valve actuators, positioners, transmitters, switches, sensors, analysers, servers, and HMIs. - Set up, configure, and maintain various plant instrumentation equipment such as positioners, analysers, transmitters, and control systems. - Follow and enforce safety standard operating procedures during all maintenance tasks, ensuring that all tools and work environments comply with safety regulations. - Collaborate with the teams to assess the availability and reliability of equipment/unit post-maintenance, aiming to maintain optimal quality and quantity of work. - Support in conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting for shutdowns and breakdowns, identifying opportunities for system improvements and enhancements. - Analyse plant performance to propose evidence-based corrections or enhancements to processes or equipment, ensuring preservation of installed equipment. - Respond to emergency call-outs and support operations around the clock, ensuring readiness for immediate action on short notice.
