Responsibilities | - Continuously monitor the operation and performance of water treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection, and chemical dosing, to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Adjust operational parameters such as flow rates, chemical dosages, and treatment levels to optimize water quality, minimize wastage, and maximize efficiency. - Identify and resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations promptly to prevent disruptions to water supply and maintain water quality standards. - Ensure that potable water treatment and distribution operations comply with all relevant safety standards, environmental regulations and quality control protocols to safeguard public health. - Analyse operational data, water quality parameters, and performance metrics to identify trends, assess system performance, and implement improvements or corrective actions as needed. - Respond effectively to emergencies, such as equipment failures, water quality incidents, or supply disruptions, by implementing contingency plans, coordinating with relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate corrective actions. -Work closely with other plant personnel, water quality specialists, maintenance teams, and regulatory agencies to coordinate activities, share information, and ensure seamless operation of potable water systems. |
